Service Delivery Team
The Service Delivery Team works alongside clients throughout the lifecycle of a study, helping translate research requirements into practical trial delivery. From implementation and testing through to ongoing support, the team helps ensure studies run smoothly while maintaining strong relationships with trial teams around the world.
Who is Mel?
I came from a project and digital delivery background and gradually found my way into product ownership through working closely with development teams and clients.
What drew me to the role was the opportunity to bridge the gap between technical delivery and user needs. I enjoy creating structure from complexity, solving practical problems, and helping ensure the products we build work well for the people relying on them every day.
One of the things I enjoy most about Spiral is the variety. Every study is different, every challenge is different, and there is always something new to learn.

What trials I’m working on
REMAP-CAP continues to be one of the most rewarding programmes I've worked on. Supporting a large international research community while balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders provides continual opportunities to learn, collaborate, and improve.
Historical Highlight
My first trial implementation. Seeing something move from concept to live release remains one of the most rewarding parts of my role.

When I'm not at Spiral, you'll usually find me spending time with my kids and my Cavoodle, Pickle, catching up with friends, reading, knitting, or pottering around the house.
I'm a big reader, a keen knitter, a chronic shopper, and someone who appreciates the importance of giving my brain a chance to switch off after a busy week.
