Development Team

The Development Team designs, builds, and maintains the technology that powers Spiral's clinical trial infrastructure. Working closely with Product Owners, testers, and clients, they transform complex trial requirements into secure, reliable platforms that support researchers around the world.

Who is Mano?

As a Junior Developer at Spiral, I work on the platform that supports clinical trials around the world. My role is a mix of problem-solving, learning, and turning ideas into software that researchers and study teams can depend on.

I've always enjoyed building things. Whether it's taking a design and bringing it to life or solving a technical challenge, there's something rewarding about creating something that has a real purpose. At Spiral, every feature we develop helps support important clinical research, which makes the work especially meaningful.

Working alongside an experienced team also means there's always something new to learn, making every project an opportunity to grow as a developer.

What's filling Mano’s brain space right now?

Beyond Spiral you’ll find me

When I'm not at work, you'll usually find me outdoors.

During the warmer months I enjoy surfing and snorkelling, while winter is all about getting down to Mt Ruapehu for snowboarding whenever I can. I also still enjoy the occasional woodworking project—a reminder that no matter whether it's timber or software, I've always enjoyed building things.
