Product Quality Team
The Product Quality Team helps ensure every Spiral platform is reliable, intuitive, and ready for real-world clinical research. Working closely with developers, Product Owners, and clients, the team tests complex workflows, identifies opportunities for improvement, and helps deliver software that researchers can trust.
Who is Xavier?
I work in software testing and client support, helping ensure Spiral's platforms perform reliably and meet the needs of trial teams around the world. I also work closely with our Product Owners to help deliver a smooth, positive experience for our clients.
What I enjoy most is solving problems. Whether it's testing a complex workflow or investigating an unexpected issue, I like understanding how systems work and making sure they work exactly as they should.
Before joining Spiral, I worked in public safety and public health, where accuracy, reliability, and clear communication were essential. Those experiences continue to shape the way I approach testing today.

What trials I’m working on
SNAP
The SNAP trial aims to improve treatment outcomes for patients with Staphylococcus aureus bloodstream infections. The study currently includes sites in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Canada and Israel.
REDUSE
Protocolised Reduction of Non-resuscitation Fluids vs Usual Care in Septic Shock. The objective of this study is to assess the beneficial and harmful effects of a restrictive strategy for the administration of non-resuscitation fluids in adult patients with septic shock.g

When I'm not at Spiral, you'll usually find me outdoors.
I volunteer with Land Search and Rescue, enjoy mountain biking, diving and hunting, and love spending time exploring with my family. At home, life is kept busy by three dogs and a cat who are always ready for the next adventure.
