Stew Duff
Stew Duff is one of our developers at Spiral. A self-described ‘gopher’ (‘go for this, go for that’), Stew adapts quickly to changes in focus and priority. He is an essential part of the team, making the extremely complex, possible.
With more than 30 years of experience as a Developer, Stew has coded across a multitude of industries, languages and frameworks but says that working with us at Spiral has been some of the most rewarding.
Serious when needed but light-hearted when the moment calls for it, Stew employs critical thinking, problem-solving and a touch of creativity to power his work. He finds the most inspirational aspect of working at Spiral to be the ability to improve medical outcomes for people by helping research better treatments.
When not striving to obtain the best possible outcomes for our clients, Stew fills his time with competitive gaming, biking, sailing and a love of music.

Project highlight:
Implementing Spinnaker print form functionality to make digital forms printable in a usable way off the same code base. Also, implementing a randomisation within a randomistion process for Simply Snap within the Snap trial, block chain randomisation to different consent forms before actual trial randomisation.
