Your website or software will be hosted on our dedicated server running the latest Microsoft operating system and database. The server room is in a secure, climate controlled environment backed by one of the largest ISP's in New Zealand.

Our development team have configured our server to best serve your requirements and the software we develop for you. We outsource the management of the physical environment to New Zealand company, ICONZ Ltd.

Dedicated Team

Friendly, knowledgeable support is provided by our team here in Petone. We don't have a call centre - the people answering your call are the tech team AND the support team. Our team can talk you through website updates, adding photos or what your web stats mean. If you muck-up your updates then call us and we'll fix things for you.

Versatility

If your website or application has big fluctuations in traffic or computing power needs – spikes around special events, for example – we can easily add more system resource or provision additional servers, and then remove them once the demand subsides.

Reliability and Ultimate Performance

Our Cloud Hosting platform offers levels of reliability, redundancy and performance that are simply not possible with standard ‘off the shelf’ servers or other hosted server options.

Cloud Computing is a collection of pooled computing resources in the form of CPU, disk space and memory. On top of all the hardware is a virtualisation or ‘hypervisor’ layer that manages the server resources.

Energy Saving and Performance

We utilise multiple HP Blade enclosures which contain up to 16 Blades per enclosure. HP Blades are servers that are mounted vertically which allows more units to fit into a smaller amount of data centre space, resulting in energy savings.

Our storage arrays employ fibre channel disks connected via fibre optics which are the fastest disks in the world today, and the best way to connect storage devices to Blade servers. Read/write bottlenecks encountered when using classic VPS (Virtual Private Servers) and physical dedicated servers are now a thing of the past.

More about the hardware ....

• We have multiple HP c-7000 Blade enclosures located in separate Data Centres for High Availability (HA) and redundancy
• Each Blade enclosure has 4x 1GbE internet uplinks for redundancy and capacity
• Each Blade server has two fibre channel HBA’s providing 4 paths to the EVA SAN arrays via two independent fibre channel fabrics
• Each Blade benefits from N+1 power supplies per enclosure
• Each Blade benefits from N+1 cooling fans per enclosure. If one fan fails the others increase their speed to offset the loss
• Blade servers operate in a High Availability (HA) cluster. Servers can migrate between Blades in the event of a hardware failure reducing outages from hours to minutes
• Each EVA SAN is equipped with two dedicated disk controllers redundantly connected to each and every disk in the array

... and if thats not enough .... your website is also monitored every 5 minutes, 24 hours a day and we receive a text notification if there is even the slightest of problems.

The datacentre is monitored with state of the art video surveillance and intrusion alarm systems to ensure your data and all hardware are completely secure.
