Cain Harland
Cain is one of the creative minds behind our Spinnaker software. His coding, development and insight enable people to participate in and conduct ground-breaking clinical trials worldwide.
With a BSC in biology and a design diploma from NatColl, Cain loves nothing more than being handed a problem that needs to be solved. Not one to shy away from a setback, Cain thinks outside of the box with a willingness to try, fail, iterate, and repeat until he gets it right.
Cain particularly loves building practical and efficient implementations of response adaptive randomisation. While he claims competitiveness is not necessarily in his blood, he does enjoy finding success in places where others failed before him, knowing that sometimes all it takes is a change in perspective to do the job efficiently.
With a personal life to match the busyness of his work, Cain loves diving, distilling, and practising Brazilian Ju-Jitsu and is particularly handy on the BBQ.
